Is a good singer BORN or MADE?

Okay, so I’ve been singing (well? it’s debatable…*lol*) for practically my whole life. Just recently, I was inspired to pursue singing, and joined the school musical and chorus and whatnot. They gave me a solo song in the musical, but I don’t know if it was because I was actually good, or because guys at our school think that musicals are stupid, and therefore don’t try out. I mean, I’ve been told I’m a good singer, but that’s what half the awful singers on American Idol say, you know?
However, I have a musical background (7+ years of piano) and near-perfect pitch (so don’t dare play out of tune! j/k) Anyhow, I’m just wondering that, with voice lessons (which I’m thinking about taking if I’ve got the time/effort/talent) could I become a good singer? Nothing exceptional, of course, but good enough to perform in public without getting tomatoes thrown at me? Also, is it possible to re-learn the “tone” of your voice? Any answer would be helpful, so thank you in advance! ~ Mr. Wonderful

wat is randy paula and simons last name.how many judges do they usually have.(american idol)?
me and some friends wanna do it 4 a talent show.how many singers do the usually have also.i really wanna know.

How does the American Idol wildcard show work?
I read that the 4th place vote-getter gets into the wildcard show. (why didn’t they announce this person on the show instead of telling everyone they were going home.) The other singers are judges choices and the total number of participants may be 10, 11 or 12.
This is where I’m confused. Does American vote or do the judges determine the best singers for those final 3 slots based on their performance in this show?
Why is American Idol being so vague about the wildcard show?

The Worst American Idol Auditions Ever(MUST SEE)
Some of the Worst Singers that have ever Hit America Perform for the Juges and get Serious Abuse..These are not in order they are just in my opinion the worst singers in general… I apologise but the volume it quite bad so keep ur hand on the volume… and watch out for the ending!!
